SYNOPSIS:

Lyrica is the brand name of an anxiolytic medication

Often anxiety comes with depression

Lyrica has been experimented as antidepressant

When administered as anticonvulsant it caused severe depression in some cases and in patients with no history of depression

Lyrica is also a form of ancient poetry where the poet tries to express himself, his sensitivity, lived experiences, joys and sorrows

This radio drama titled Lyricae tries to convey feelings of discomfort, uneasiness, numbness and despair that are inherent to depression and anxiety, through 3 cryptic poems and and sonic elements that evolve and build up along the composition, they come and go, like memories, each representing a fragment of life

Ghosts from the past come back violently and unwelcome, unacceptance of the present corrodes the soul, the future hides behind a thick black curtain
