Synopsis
"A440 Prolepsis, Anteludium" is based almost exclusively on the sounds of instruments, orchestras and singers' warming up voices. I would be more happy to stop here, leaving the rest to the listeners but if it's obligatory to say more let me explain that the whole process of work on this little piece and few others took ten months of registering the sounds in concert halls before the musical show or performance start, also visiting singers while making their warming up exercises in their studios or theatre dressing rooms, no less discovering all kinds of different acoustic material in numerous radio's and other archives and finally start working on the piece in my home studio for months … "A440 Prolepsis Anteludium" is just one of a few finished or unfinished parts of the whole work. Speaking many times with e.g. orchestra performers I found out that most of them enjoy the tuning time on the stage undeniable way. It's like a kind of an extra joy on the eve of the great event so I start to enjoy myself much more than ever before while listening these tuning sessions forgeting oftentime the music what is coming next. It was a concert before the concert I've been entertained by.
